Microsoft revealed today that PC drivers are now available for the Xbox One controller.
The two finalists were announced on May 12 as Gronkowski and Beckham Jr. Cover athlete EA decided not to have players vote for the cover athlete through a traditional bracket, but rather through collectible cards in Madden NFL Mobile, or through Ultimate Team on the console devices. On May 4, 2015, the four finalists were announced for the 2016 game cover: New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Major Nelson made the announcement, offering direct links to download the PC drivers for the Xbox One controller. 'The new PC drivers will enable the Xbox One controller to be used with any game that featured gamepad support for the Xbox 360 controller,' Nelson wrote. 'Simply download the drivers, connect your Xbox One controller to your computer through a micro USB cable and you’ll be gaming in no time.'
While Microsoft confirmed PC compatibility for the Xbox One last year, rumors popped up in March that contradicted that information. However, Microsoft quickly debunked the misinformation earlier this year, and now PC drivers are available for download. Microsoft also plans to release the drivers as part of a Windows update in the near future.
